I recently experienced something along the lines of a psychotic episode, you might call it. No, not the loud violent kind. More of a silent, deeply unnerving experience. It started on Sunday and it's worn off significantly since then, but it's not exactly over just yet. I was hearing things, felt incredibly confused and anxious for no reason at all, was 'off-balance' physically and moving like you'd expect someone 'insane' to move, etc. Fortunately I still had enough coherence of thought to function. So what did I do? I sat in the corner of my room with my art supplies in a semicircle in front of me, and painted all day. This is one of the better pieces. Done earlier than the last one; just forgot about it.
