draw yourself meme - Pokemon

Over on tumblr I opened myself up yet again to the "draw yourself meme", which is basically where people leave the title of something and you have to draw yourself in the style of whatever that is. This time around I decided I would try to primarily use my lampsona, but my normal self wound up appearing a few times as well. Not in this one, though.

With this one, I drew myself as a fake Pokemon instead of a trainer. And in an attempt at Sugimori's style, rather than something from the anime. I wound up translating the lamp-part of my lampsona into a big eye, but it still shoots light-based attacks / beams out of it. In addition to the lamp and okapi elements that my lampsona normally has, I incorporated a small bit of mantis as well - the forearms - and either a raptor or kangaroo, depending on how you interpret at the anatomy. Plus a little chest plate. Movesets consist primarily of beam / light-based attacks, as well as cutting / slashing ones. As far as the actual typing of this? No idea. My initial thoughts were normal and possibly some secondary type. Some people have suggested psychic or ground as the secondary type. Psychic and ground might not be a bad combo either.

A name escapes me as well. I remember at one point I tried turning my lamp-self into a fake Pokemon and I had a name then, but I guess I didn't write it down anywhere I can find and now I'll never know what that name was. Oh well.
